Happy New Year to all and a belated Merry Christmas! I hope your holidays were wonderful. With the exception of what happened on Christmas day, our Turkey came out beautifully delicious. Like Sarah Palin said: "If God didn't want us to eat animals He wouldn't have made them out of meat!" It's from her book "Going Rogue" which, if you haven't read it, you should.

Here's what happened to us on Christmas day at precisely 7:45AM. We had an extremely strong power surge that cut all of our electricity off until noon. It was stressful as our oven is electric, but as I said, the 22 pound turkey was wonderful even though our dinner was much later than usual. Unfortunately the surge also fried my computer. I'm finally using a friend's computer to get this message out.

I don't know if my pc being fried is a blessing in disguise or not. I was absolutely stressing over the political situation and since I haven't been able to post I'm not quite as stressed, although I'm still totally pissed off at the ~~administration~~ Chicago thugs running things. I'll leave comments open but I won't be able to read them until I get a new pc and I don't know when that will be as I have other financial priorities at present that are more pressing. In the meantime I leave you with this:

We WILL take this country back this year. That's not wishful thinking... it's a given. Everything the nutjobs have done can be undone!

The Reason for Thanksgiving

In my last post I said I wouldn't post anything until January, but I really can't let either Thanksgiving or Christmas pass without wishing my readers well during these most important celebrations. The following was created by Paula from Homeward Bound. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving all!

A Much Needed Hiatus

There are many reasons I'm going to have to take time off from now until January. Time and visiting family members are two of them. This is the time of year I choose to thoroughly clean my house from top to bottom and today we are going to be restoring our hardwood floor in the living room. I'll have a houseful of people here throughout Thanksgiving and most of the Christmas Season. DANG! I almost typed "Holiday Season"! The left just keeps banging away, hoping to seep into our very pores. I'm going to have to be cognizant of the fact that their constant harping does wear a person down, just like the homosexuals stole the word "gay" for themselves and Americans barely even noticed it. But I'm getting off-topic.

The most important reason of all for this hiatus is to clear my mind and take a much needed break from politics so that I, and those around me, can truly enjoy and appreciate Thanksgiving and Christmas. I plan on coming back refreshed and renewed in January. I've seriously thought about quitting altogether because my frame of mind when I'm angry (and I'm really angry!) isn't a pleasant thing for anyone to witness. However, as long as Obama is in office I'm probably going to remain angry anyway and at least blogging allows me to vent.

I will check my e-mail two or three times a week and drop by to visit my blogging friends whenever I can. I'm not going to drop out of the internet entirely. I still will need to know what's going on and I get more information from my wonderful blogging friends than I ever will from the news, even Fox News. I not only get better information, I get it sooner. Someday, unless they change their ways, everyone will go to the internet for news and televised news will die off altogether. Some stations are in their death throws already.

I'm going to turn comment moderation off during this time because I wont have the time to keep checking for comments. I'll let my loyal readers respond to any trolls... I know there are some of you who actually enjoy it! There don't seem to be as many around as there used to be. Do you suppose they're also unhappy with Obama? :)

I wish all of you a wonderful Thanksgiving and Christmas. I hope all of you will have beautiful Christmas Trees and I know you will call them "Christmas Trees." To those who insist on calling Christmas Trees "Holiday Trees", why bother even putting one up? Why bother even celebrating Christmas when you don't have a clue as to what it's all about?

Last Wednesday was Veterans Day but our town clock is still playing patriotic songs and many more flags are still flying. While in the Church last Saturday setting up for Sunday's service it played "When Johnny Comes Marching Home" and several other patriotic songs. On Sundays it plays Christian Songs. I don't know what it plays on most Saturdays as I'm not usually in town on a Saturday. Last Saturday was an exception.

So why do I tell you this? What does it have to do with the price of tea in ~~China~~ America, right? What I'm leading up to is the fact that it's not only this one town in the middle of Central Texas that does this. There are thousands of small towns all over America that are still patriotic and don't emulate San Francisco, New York City, or anywhere else in the USA where the far-left loony-toons have taken over. The great majority of Americans are still patriotic, they still love this country and our military, and they absolutely detest what Obama is doing to us. That is why most Americans who pay attention to the news watch Fox News and not traitorous stations that know nothing about journalism, patriotism, truth or even justice, and I know you know which ones they are.

Obama and his motley crew don't know who they are messing with. They are messing with the grass roots of America and when the clock plays "When Johnny comes marching home" and I sing the words...

Hurrah! Hurrah!
We'll give him a hearty welcome then

The men will cheer and the boys will shout
The ladies they will all turn out

... I feel ecstatic when our troops return home safe from a long tour at the front of a horrible war. I feel gay, and good and sentimental and by all that's holy and dear I want the word "gay" to mean what it used to mean!

I've noticed no one uses it anymore except when referring to homosexuals. How disgusting is that? But I digress.

Bottom line, watch out Obama. You are messing with our Constitution, our Freedom and our individual right to personal achievement. You are messing with the working man and woman's paychecks and wasting our taxpayer dollars. You are messing with our children, both born and unborn! You are deliberately messing up out nation and even though you and your cronies ignore our teaparties and our rallies and try to undermine conservative critics who vehemently disagree with your idiotic policies you are climbing up a rope that sooner or later will break. You are steadily losing the support of moderate Democrats and your party is divided. You are messing with our military and undermining America by not allowing military tribunals for Muslim Terrorists.

You are steadily undermining everything that is good and decent about America, but we who you consider beneath you, we are watching and our town clocks are not only playing patriotic music, our clocks are ticking and come election time in 2010 you will have your hands tied behind your back because real Americans will do everything in their power to take back the House and the Senate. Your days where you can continue to make a laughing stock out of America are numbered.

Why Were 14 People Killed at Fort Hood? Because Officials at Walter Reed Passed the Buck!

(UPDATE: I changed the title of this post because one of the women who was murdered was pregnant. Her baby was a person too! The MSM has apparently forgotten about that as they're only counting 13 people as having been killed.)

Please read this article from National Public Radio (NPR): Walter Reed Officials Asked: Was Hasan Psychotic? The information in it is astounding and disgusting!

It's now evident that many people at Walter Reed knew there was something very wrong with Nidal Hasan and that by not objecting to his transfer to Fort Hood they passed the buck. I don't care what rank he wore, I refuse to call him "Major".

Here's a condensed version of the four reasons that he was transferred to Fort Hood:

1. The process at Walter Reed for expelling doctors is "lengthy and cumbersom." Hello? So is the grieving process people must suffer when a loved one is murdered!

2. This one is political correctness gone berserk: Some supervisors worried they might be "discriminating against Hasan because of his seemingly extremist beliefs."

3. Walter Reed officials that were involved in the deliberations were "not aware, as some top Walter Reed officials were, that intelligence analysts had been tracking Hasan's e-mails with at least one suspected Islamic extremist since December 2008."

4. This reason, at least in my mind, is the poorest of all: Because Fort Hood has more psychiatrists than some other Army bases, officials figured he'd be monitored more closely there.

Bottom line... Walter Reed officials didn't want to deal with it. They were afraid of being accused of discrimination. Just pass him off to Fort Hood and let them deal with this jackass - we don't have time for it! And what makes it even more apparent that they were passing the buck is the article says that his work was substandard at Walter Reed. What on earth gave them the idea Ft. Hood would want him?

I know I'm beating this one to death, but I can't seem to let it go. I want people who let this miserable cretin slip through their fingers to pay some sort of price for it! Thirteen people are dead and many others wounded because of the idiotic reasons listed above? Dear God, what is happening to us?

And to top it all off, we have Obama, the Commander in Chief and his left-wing cronies refusing to Call Ft. Hood Massacre an Act of Terror! It makes me want to puke!

"Commander in Chief" and "Obama" in the same sentence sounds like a very bad joke. This was terrorism and it could have been prevented... it should have been prevented!

Fox news reports that sources in Congress have reported to ABC news that Nidal Malik Hasan, the Major who deliberately slaughtered 13 people at Ft. Hood had "more unexplained connection to people being tracked by the FBI" than just a radical Muslim imam, investigators have found, acording to a report. The names of those unexplained connections were not revealed to ABC news.

Of course Fox News had to pick this up from another news source because Fox News is on the White House Enemies List and Fox News doesn't say that Hasan actually "slaughtered" 13 people. They say he is "suspected" of having slaughtered 13 people. ABC says he is "alleged" as being the shooter. Innocent until proven guilty, of course. Thankfully I'm not limited to having to do that. The b*stard didn't belong in our military and it's this blogger's opinion that there were enough warning signs for the Army to strip him of his rank and give him a dishonerable discharge! During a presentation that was supposed to be on the environment Hasan gave a presentation on the war on terror. That alone should have been enough, but obviouslly, political correctness has taken over even our military.

Our Government

The Obama administration doesn't want us to use the words "War on Terror." Tough! That's what we are in whether the government admits it or not, and that's what I will call it whether the government likes it or not.

I live in Texas but I wasn't in the state when Major Didal Malik Hasan decided it would be a great idea to kill people at Ft. Hood. No link for that. If there's anyone who hasn't heard about it, then they aren't interested enough in what happens to this country to be reading this in the first place.

What truly blows me away isn't the fact that another act of terrorism has happened here. I think, with the dhimmitude going on in this country that it's a no-brainer that it would happen again. What I don't understand is why the military did nothing about this man when several soldiers reported to their superiors that Hasan had praised suicide bombers! Obviously this is no longer the same Army that my husband spent 20 years in. What in the world has happened to us? I am almost stupified by the fact that officers knew about this man's loyalty to muslim terrorists and did absolutely nothing. Of course that's not all that puzzles me. As Susan Sachs Fleishman wrote in the same article: "Am I the only one who sees an inherent recklessness in assigning a devout Muslim, no matter how upright and grounded he might be, to counsel soldiers traumatized by their experiences in the Iraq and Afghan wars?" Of course she's not the only one and neither am I. The idiocy of that fact alone is almost beyond belief! But the dhimmitude of our government is undoubtedly to blame too. In fact there is a lot of blame to go around but it won't help anything at all. Those who were killed will still be dead and those families who lost loved ones will still be grieving.

The bottom line of all this is that this country must wake up and call it what it is. It's a war on terror, Obama, whether you like it or not! It's also a fight against pure and utter evil. If you don't believe that, just ask the family members of those who have been murdered.

Some Good News at Last!

Republicans won in both governor's races in Virginia and New Jersey, but Hoffman lost in New York. Even so, he lost by a very narrow margin: 49 to 46 percent. I don't have to tell you that this is really good news and even though there were local issues important to voters, it also shows that there was a backlash against Obama's policies. I only hope the GOP doesn't get a big head over these two victories. They still have a lot of work to do to clean up their act!

And here's more good news. A Bryan, Texas Planned Parenthood director has had an epiphany and resigned after being shocked by watching an ultrasound of a baby being aborted and is now supporting Coalition for Life. We are told in the following video that Planned Parenthood plans on taking the issue to court. What "issue"? Don't people even have the right to quit their jobs anymore?

"We don't want the word to get out that we want to exterminate the negro population." That's a quote my Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood. You would think that black people in America would be especially outraged by Planned Parenthood since they focus on killing black babies more than any other. The "Obama Light" Republican Diedre Scossafava Drops Out of the Race

So which "race" am I referring to? Upstate New York's 23rd Congressional District seat.

Glenn Beck referred to Assemblywoman Diedre Scossafava as the "Obama Light" Republican. My research has shown her to be in the Olympia Snowe category, which makes her more of a liberal than a centrist and the proof of that is that she has endorsed the Democratic candidate William L. Owens! In the following video Newt Gingrich was backing her, which infuriated me as much as it did Glenn Beck! However, since Beck's show was aired, Gingrich has endorsed Doug Hoffman and because she was losing, Assemblywoman Scossafava has dropped out of the race. In the following video, after a rant, Glenn interviews Hoffman, so I present the video just in case you know nothing about Hoffman:

I can't help but wonder what changed Gingrich's mind? Was it the fact that Sarah Palin has endorsed Hoffman and Limbaugh has spoken approvingly of Hoffman on his radio program? Is it possible Glenn Beck's rant had anything to do with it? My guess is that Gingrich got wind of Scossafava's plans to drop out but whatever the reasoning behind it, I'm glad he did. If the GOP doesn't grow a solid backbone and stand up for real conservative values and continue to fight for them while in office, then I will no longer consider myself a Republican! Politicians saying one thing before they're elected and doing another after they've been elected has worn just a wee bit thin.

Wake Up Call for Those Who Like the "Public Option"

Those of you who are longing for the government to run your health care need to get a reality check. Government always screws up whatever it's put in charge of and this government, if you allow it to, will screw things up royally. But I'm bored with ranting about this subject. I don't know how Glenn Beck and others continue on day after day, but God bless them for putting the truth out there!

Representative Grayson - Trash Mouth of the Year!

A couple of days ago I would have said it was impossible for the Democratic Party to sink any lower than it already has, but Representative Alan Grayson from Orlando, Florida has proven me wrong. Most of you have probably already heard about his disgusting "K Steet Whore" comment, where he says about Linda Robertson, ""This lobbyist, this K street whore, is trying to teach me about economics." Someone should teach the pig something about civility. He sounds like a teenage boy suffering from rejection!

For Grayson though, this is just his style. Do you remember him saying that blood drips from Cheney's teeth? What a role model such people as Grayson are for our children. The insulting comment in reference to Cheney is near the end of the video. Unfortunately you'll have to also stomach Chris Matthews if you watch it. (Wonder if Grayson causes a thrill to run up Matthews leg?)

And the Democrats screamed bloody murder when Joe Wilson shouted out "You Lie!" to Obama during one of his millions of speeches. (Well, it does seem like millions... the man's always on television.)

I'm so utterly disgusted with this supposedly grown adult acting like a frustrated teenager with too much testosterone! It's a shame that famous people in this country can't be sued for slander. This jerk needs his mouth washed out with soap. He also makes me gloriously happy that I don't live in Orlando anymore. Oh yeah... I already was happy about that. Well, now I'm ecstatic!

Oh, and by the way, since loudmouth Grayson is in love with the Public Option, someone does need to teach him economics. I suppose saying that makes me a whore too. I prefer to be in the company of those he accuses to be whores than to be in league with him!

Incidentally, it's not called "The Public Option" anymore. Pelosi is now calling it a "Consumer Option." I'm sure she thinks that will make all the difference. We know how stupid the elitist far-left believe us peons to be, don't we?

NATO MOVES FOR MORE TROOPS IN AFGHANISTAN WHILE OBAMA SITS ON HIS HANDS

NATO moves toward more troops for Afghan war

BRATISLAVA, Slovakia (AP) — U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates said Friday that NATO allies are moving toward sending more troops and civilian aid to Afghanistan.

Gates said he was "heartened" by allies' commitment to the 8-year-old war even as the Obama administration mulls whether to order tens of thousands more U.S. troops to the fight. (Bold is mine)

The Pentagon chief cited a long-term commitment by NATO partners to remain in Afghanistan until the conflict is successfully resolved.

At a meeting of 28 NATO defense ministers in Bratislava, Gates said he did not seek specific promises of military assistance, and none was given. He described, however, "a renewed determination to see this through."

So when are we going to be "heartened" by Obama's commitment to the 8-year-old war? More importantly, when are we going to be heartened by his commitment to our troops who are already there and why can't he make a decision regarding this extremely important matter?

According to ABC News "some critics on both the left and right are asking: "Is the president essentially "too nice" to make the important decisions?" Ye gads and little fishes! Sorry, but why don't they ask a couple of realistic questions such as "is the President afraid to make the right decision because he will anger his far-left base? or "Was this president too inexperienced to be the POTUS in the first place?" I believe an honest answer to both of those questions would be a resounding "YES!"

We unfortunately have a president who sit's on his hands and by doing so puts our troop's lives in more danger each and every day that he procrastinates. This is especially disheartening now that we finally have 30,000 Pakistani soldiers committed to fighting Alqaida and the Talliban in the lawless border regions.

We are stuck with a president who claims he pushed the wrong buttons on six senate votes. OOPS! We unfortunately have a president who isn't qualified in any way, shape or form to even be the president and is only there through the apathy and ignorance of some of the American public, the greed of people who feel they are entitled to government handouts, and the refusal of many conservatives to vote at all because they didn't like anyone who was running. Those conservatives, especially those who run political blogs, anger me most of all because they absolutely knew the consequences of their non-vote. Being unaware is one thing, but being aware and doing nothing is unconscionable! Now we're stuck with a president who some think may be "too nice" to make a decision.

May God help our troops fighting for all of our freedom and may He also help Obama to make the right decision for once in his life!

Florida Judge Sends Rifqa Bary Back to Ohio

A 17-year old girl who fled from her home, fearing her Muslim parents would kill her for converting to Christianity, must go back to Ohio, a Florida judge ruled Tuesday.

Judge Daniel Dawson ruled Ohio has jurisdiction over the case involving the teen, Rifqa Bary.

Before the girl gets sent back, the judge says he needs immigration papers proving her status in the U.S. and proof from the state of Florida that she can continue her virtual schooling and receive credit in Ohio.

She is expected to be placed in foster care when she returns and will also be provided with psychiatric evaluations. Her parents will also receive psychiatric evaluations.

Okay. Let me see if I've got this right. This Florida judge is going to send the girl back to Ohio and put her in foster care and also give psychiatric evaluations to both her and her parents. I may be off base, but my personal opinion is that if anyone needs a psychiatric evaluation it's this judge! The girl will soon turn 18 and when she does she'll be able to go wherever she wants whenever she wants - if she survives - but in the meantime she's going to be examined to make sure she's sane? I guess that's par for the course considering she converted to Christianity.

Please tell me how you can conclude Islamic parents are sane when it's part of their religious philosophy that if they are dishonored by their children they have the right to kill them? Anyone?

Another question: Would the judge have come to the same conclusion if the parents had been Christians? I guess we'll never know for sure, but somehow I doubt it. Christianity is under attack and Islam is not only being tolerated but - in far too many cases - given more rights than Christians. Need I remind anyone of the Islamic prayer rooms in airports and Cleveland's CAIR attempt to place Muslim footbaths at Hopkins International Airport?

What I want to know is, would this 17 year-old girl have been sent back if she had been a Christian who had converted to Muslim? After all, the judge wouldn't have to be concerned about Christian's retaliating, would he?

I do understand that in most states 17 year-olds are not considered adults, but I also believe that in the case where a person that close to being a legal adult makes a decision as dangerous as to convert from Islam to Christianity perhaps an exception should be made? Or is it just me?

U.S. Troop Funds Diverted to Pet Projects

Senators diverted $2.6 billion in funds in a defense spending bill to pet projects largely at the expense of accounts that pay for fuel, ammunition and training for U.S. troops, including those fighting wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, according to an analysis.

Among the 778 such projects, known as earmarks, packed into the bill: $25 million for a new World War II museum at the University of New Orleans and $20 million to launch an educational institute named after the late Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, Massachusetts Democrat.

Evidently a World War II museum and and institution named after Edward Kennedy are far more important to the Democrats than our troops who are risking their lives on the battlefield each and every day. The article states that Senator Tom Coburn called this a disgrace. It's far more than simply a disgrace... it's criminal. I can't even begin to imagine being any angrier than I already am. If I found out about this with my husband in Afghanistan fighting a war I'd probably explode. These days it's not only husbands, it's wives and children of both sexes. The families of our soldiers will be even more angry about this than I am, if that's even possible. As a woman who is married to a Vietnam Veteran my heart goes out not only to the soldiers on the ground but to their families as well.

Go ahead, Democrats. Keep it up and once your voted out of office you won't gain control of government for the next forty years, if even then!

Matthew Whalen, a seventeen-year-old Eagle Scout was suspended from school for 20 days for having a two inch pocket knife locked in the trunk of his car. The knife was part of a survival kit. Since the school has that stupid zero-tolerance policy, the school suspended him because his car was parked in the Troy, N.Y. highschool parking lot. Please watch his interview on Hannity:

This isn't about a 2" pocket knife that this young man kept locked in the trunk of his car. As Matthew said himself "Under their definition of a weapon it's anything that can be reasonably considered as a weapon." Which, as both Hannity and the student agree, could also be a baseball bat or a tire iron. Actually, a pen or even a pencil can be used as a weapon. But suspending this outstanding young man for having a boy scout knife locked in the trunk of his car as part of a survival kit is utterly ridiculous and the transparency regarding the motive of this charge is glaringly obvious.

This is just one more attack by progressive liberals against conservatives. Progressives have been after the Boy Scouts for quite some time. Just as they went after the Junior ROTC program they are going after good students who want to make a career out of the military. Thank God that West Point isn't going to hold this against him. At least they haven't gone nutso!

"OPENNESS AND TRANSPARANCY"? WHAT A JOKE!

I found the above video at the Heritage Foundation's website on a post titled "Harry Reid and the Chamber of Secrets". A snippet from that post:

“My Administration is committed to creating an unprecedented level of openness in Government…Openness will strengthen our democracy and promote efficiency and effectiveness in Government.” Or so President Obama says on the White House website. But does he mean it? Of course not.

And as they say on their post, they're going to negotiate that final bill behind closed doors so we can't see it. Openness? Transparancy? Is it possible that this administration doesn't know the meaning of those words? Have we seen any openness or transparancy from them so far?

If you can cite even one instance of openness and transparency from this administration I'd truly like to know what it was. I don't believe anything is as important to Obama and his cronies as is his government taking over our health care and that scares the hell out of me! They're going to try to shove it down our throats no matter what the majority of Americans want.

There was a time when I worked for Civil Service and that was back in the seventies. What a joke that was! I can't begin to tell you the instances of sheer incompetence and waste I witnessed while working there, so the idea of government running anything that has to do with our health is my worst nightmare. If you happen to think this government is going to improve anything in any area, especially health care and if you are all for it, then don't say you haven't been warned. If they do pass this monstrous bill then God help us all.

NO COST OF LIVING INCREASE FOR 2010

Wow! Obama's the man, isn't he? He's banning the cost of living increase (COLA) next year for those people who receive Social Security. Remember, we paid into it and it's supposedly our money. What a joke! According to Fox News it will be the first time it's been withheld since 1975.

So what's the reasoning? Well, this truly generous guy is going to give a $250 check to "50 million seniors, veterans, retired railworkers and people with disabilities. But get this... it's a one time deal. A check for $250 will be sent out to the people listed above, including social security recipients. I feel so lucky to have this man as our POTUS. After all, we can buy so much with a single $250 check, can't we? The cost of Obama's wonderful generosity will cost the government 13 billion dollars which means it will cost us taxpayers 13 billion dollars because the government's money comes from us. In part:

Obama said he would not allow the payments to come out of the Social Security trust funds and further erode the finances of the retirement program. Social Security already is projected to pay out more in benefits than it collects in taxes in each of the next two years.

However, Obama did not offer any alternatives to finance the payments. A senior administration official said Obama was open to borrowing the money, increasing the federal budget deficit. The official, who requested anonymity, was not authorized to speak on the record.

The $250 payments would match the ones issued to seniors earlier this year as part of the massive economic recovery package enacted in February. Those, too, were financed with borrowed money.

Bush Administration Buried EPA Report on Global Warming

I doubt President Bush buried the Environmental Protection Agency's report on global warming because it was controversial. Perhaps that's the reason but I have a feeling the real reason may have been because he knew that the entire Global Warming idiocy is just that... idiocy!

WASHINGTON - A controversial e-mail message buried by the Bush administration because of its conclusions on global warming surfaced Tuesday, nearly two years after it was first sent to the White House and never opened.

The e-mail and the 28-page document attached to it, released Tuesday by the Environmental Protection Agency, show that back in December of 2007 the agency concluded that six gases linked to global warming pose dangers to public welfare, and wanted to take steps to regulate their release from automobiles and the burning of gasoline.

The document specifically cites global warming's effects on air quality, agriculture, forestry, water resources and coastal areas as endangering public welfare.

That finding was rejected by the Bush White House, which strongly opposed using the Clean Air Act to address climate change and stalled on producing a so-called "endangerment finding" that had been ordered by the Supreme Court in 2007.

Oh my goodness! You mean President Bush didn't trust the EPA, that same wonderful organization that diverted the water from farm land to rivers in order to save the tiny Delta Smelt fish, a tiny minnow that is supposedly an endangered species? Is it possible that our last president didn't believe in global warming? Maybe he thinks Al Gore is a quack! All sarcasm aside, good for you, President Bush, but perhaps that report should have been shredded instead of archived. The global warming scam is the biggest fraud ever perpetrated on not only the American people but the world.

We Lost the War on Drugs

If someone dropped acid in my drink I'd probably beat him with a baseball bat too, if there was one handy and if I wasn't a habitual liar and an alcoholic in the first place people might believe me when I said that my elderly boyfriend did just that instead of believing I took the acid willingly and went nuts, and if I hadn't called everyone I knew and told them I was going to commit suicide several times before perhaps people might believe I was going to do it now, and if I had been the sort of person who had character, integrity, and a good reputation for stability and loving those around me perhaps I wouldn't be such a mess, ya think?

Not to worry. The neighbors were with her when she called my friend's daughter's boyfriend, her son, to rant and rave like a lunatic and threatened suicide. She said no one loved her. He said, "I love you, Mom". She said "bullshit" and hung up.

Sad, isn't it? It's a true story. I was at my friend's house and could hear the woman ranting over the phone although I was across the room. Not to worry. Seems the next door neighbors were with her keeping an eye on her to make sure she couldn't hurt herself. The police were on their way. She's either going to wind up in a mental institution or jail, or both. It won't be anything new for her as she's been to both of those places before.

I don't know whether the woman has any faith in God whatsoever. I doubt that if she did she'd be in this mess. But this story isn't only about her. It's about the unknown hords of people in the same situation she's in. Why are they there? I believe it's because this society has let them down and it's let them down because we've removed God from schools and taught children that anything goes.

We lost the war on drugs, but no one seems to be talking about that failure! It's probably the most important war we ever fought and we've lost it hook, line and sinker!

It's depressing. But what do I know? I'm just a religious fanatic warmongering conservative.

H1N1 (Swine Flu) Vaccine Results a Fluke (Revised Post)

RETRACTION: There was an article linked here that was in reference to the HIV virus instead of the H1N1 virus. I must have been confused and so I've removed the article because I hate putting out false information. My apologies. My own personal belief that the H1N1 Flu vaccine may do more harm than good still stands, but I leave you to draw your own conclusions. Personally, I have never trusted flu vaccine. I've had a flu vaccine once in my lifetime in the 70's and it made me sick as a dog. I haven't trusted them since. I caught the flu once and it wasn't as bad as the affects of the shot, so I wasn't about to rush out and get this one. This video I found on You Tube in August did nothing to convince me I should. Even scientists who helped develop the Smallpox vaccine said they weren't going to take it! Even if they come up with one they claim is harmless, no way am I going to take it. Call me paranoid if you like, but I don't trust this government.

Mom's Against ObamaCare

I'm positive you've heard about the possibility of the Democrats using the "nuclear option" if necessary in order to push health care off on us. Using that option means they would only need 51 votes instead of sixty. It would also mean political suicide for the Dems, so I don't know whether they're desperate enough to use it or not. I hope they stick to their true character and put their own personal greed above their party's agenda!

In 2003 Republicans used the nuclear option to pass tax cuts, hardly a move that they would feel threatened by since most Americans with a brain approve tax cuts, but this bill does not have the approval of the majority of the American people. So the question is this: Will Dems commit political suicide for Obama? And another question... Will any RINO's join them? (RINO's are "Republicans in Name Only" for anyone out there who reads this and may not know.)

Who knows? Personally, I'm afraid for my children. They plan to force health insurance off on anyone who doesn't want it or can't afford it. If this crapola bill passes, they've said they will fine those who aren't covered by insurance. In other words, those who don't buy health insurance will be fined. If they are unable to purchase health insurance I wonder how they can be expected to pay fines? If they can't pay the fine will they be thrown in jail? Will your adult children be fined or thrown in jail for not purchasing government health care either because they can't afford it or don't want it? Will you still consider America a free country? I certainly won't!

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's scathing attacks against Israel and his repeated denials of the Nazi Holocaust could be motivated by a desire to conceal his own Jewish roots, an Iran expert told The Daily Telegraph on Saturday.

The British newspaper examined the Iranian leader's identity card which he displayed in public during his country's elections in March 2008.

The ID card bears his family's original surname, Sabourjian, which is a Jewish name that means cloth weaver, according to The Daily Telegraph.

The Sabourjians have historically been concentrated in the same region of Iran where Ahmadinejad was born, according to the report.

Ahmadinejad's identity papers indicate that his family changed its name and converted to Islam after he was born, the British newspaper said.

Iranian observers suggested that the president's constant verbal assault against Israel and Jews may be an attempt to prove his loyalty to Shia Islam while making every effort to hide his Jewish past.

"This aspect of Mr Ahmadinejad's background explains a lot about him," Iranian studies expert Ali Nourizadeh told The Telegraph. "Every family that converts into a different religion takes a new identity by condemning their old faith."

"By making anti-Israeli statements he is trying to shed any suspicions about his Jewish connections," Nourizadeh said. "He feels vulnerable in a radical Shia society."

Texas will appeal a ruling that the state's Defense of Marriage Act is unconstitutional.

In January, two Texas men who were "married" in Massachusetts three years ago filed for divorce in Dallas. State District Judge Tena Callahan decided to proceed with the case and on Thursday ruled the Lone Star State's marriage amendment unconstitutional. She ruled that the state ban on same-sex "marriage" violates equal protection under the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

Austin Nimocks, senior legal counsel with Alliance Defense Fund, tells OneNewsNow Callahan's decision is a slap in the face of Texas voters.

"And when Texas voters vote by an overwhelming margin of 75 percent that marriage is what it always has been -- as the union of one man and one woman -- it really goes outside the realm of what a state court judge is designed to do, to strike down that law and tell 75 percent of Texas voters that they were wrong."

Both the governor and attorney general of Texas have said the case will be appealed, and Alliance Defense Fund will be filing briefs in their favor every step of the way -- and all the way to the Texas Supreme Court, if necessary.

As it says in the article, 75% of the Texas citizens have voted that marriage should be between a man and a woman. That's an overwhelming majority and this so-called Judge has no right whatsoever to ignore us!

"Wait a minute. Chicago is out? OUT?"Yeah, buddy. Chicago is out and we know how badly all of Obama's cronies wanted the games held in Chicago. What a crying shame. I'm so torn up over this I'm crying in my beer. Okay, so I don't drink beer but that's beside the point. Instead of going to Copenhagen he could have been doing something important like figuring out how to deal with Iran. That is, if he even wants to deal with Iran. That's anyone's guess.

Do you suppose this is a blow to Obama's ego? I mean, he's the chosen one and should be able to get anything he wants, right? Must be a real shock even though I heard him say during a speech on this great and tragic loss "...so that I wish that we had come back with better news from Copenhagen, I could not be prouder of my home town of Chicago... and on and on, while most of the time smiling from ear to ear.

It's extremely important and I ask you to let others know about this. Blog about it if you have a website or just leave a link to it. People need to know what our beloved leader (sarc) is wanting to do and it is totally against the United States Constitution. He starts off by ranting about President Bush but that's what Obama does. No surprise there. It's what he says after that which is scary.

Just think about the mindset of the people who get to interpret what "an act of war" is! If anyone believes he only wants to target terrorists, please think again.

ACORN AND THE "BLACKJACK PROGRAM"

According to an article posted this morning on Fox News "a preliminary hearing Tuesday in downtown Clark County courthouse has put ACORN on trial for the first time as a criminal defendent."That's Clark County, Nevada. It seems investigators have finally uncovered a paper trail that implicates the organization and not simply ACORN workers. They've found proof in policy manuals that clearly shows that they had a quota system they called "Blackjack". They paid a five dollar bonus each day to workers who signed up 21 or more voters.

Also proven is the fact that ACORN used the names of the starting lineup of the Dallas Cowboys as new voters, but of course none of us are surprised about that. After all, they didn't bat an eye at using the names of dead people.

There's a troll out there on the blogs who keeps posting on conservative sites that ACORN is a non-issue. Yeah, well, we'll see how much of a non-issue it is, won't we? And we know how much the left would be having hissy fits if it was conservatives who had been caught doing the despicable things ACORN has already been proven to have done, don't we?

But the thing that get me almost as mad as ACORN workers not batting an eye at child prostitution is the fact that we don't have a clue as to whether or not it was ACORN that put Obama over the top and is the reason we now have him as president. It's extremely difficult for me to believe that even after Obama told us in his own words how he would gut the military that the majority of Americans would still vote for him!

On August 17, a little over a month ago, Obama said in a speech to the Veterans of Foreign Wars that Afghanistan is a "war of necessity".

But now when General McChrystal asks for more troops to fight the war in Afghanistan Obama procrastinates. It's no surprise but it's disgusting! This president is what we are now stuck with and I'd like to know if we have ACORN to thank for it.

Obama Wasn't Certified in 49 States!

(Personal: Before I get to the political part of this post I need to inform you I don't know how long your comments may be held in moderation as I'm going to help someone move today and have no idea how long it's going to take. Considering she's not even packed I know it's going to take some time. I'll publish comments as soon as I possibly can.)

I found the information for this post over at Canadian Sentinel's. He linked to the Canadian Free Press(CFP) who ran this article: DNC Failed to Certify Obama as Eligible in MOST States! Isn't it strange we have to go to Canada to hear about this. At least I haven't seen it before. A snippet from the article (bold is mine):

Then we find out that the DNC did NOT certify Obama as eligible under Article II – Section I of the Constitution, in 49 of 50 states. The DNC had only filed such certification in the state of Hawaii, Obama’s alleged birth place. The other 49 states received a Certification of Nomination which did NOT certify Obama as constitutionally eligible for office.

North Carolina Enrolls Illegal Immigrants into State Community Colleges

North Carolina's Attorney General Roy A. Cooper had banned NC's public community colleges from enrolling illegal immigrants but - according to the Corruption Chronicles page of Judicial Watch - NC's state board reversed the ban to allow the enrollment of illegal aliens. Just part of the article found at the Corruption Chronicles:

Proudly announcing the vote that reversed the ban, the board’s chairwoman said that students who are striving for a better future will have access to a “seamless educational pathway” from kindergarten through twelfth grade and beyond. The president of the community college system added that the new policy maintains “all-important hope” for students who were brought to the U.S. as minors and keeps the path to a better life for the illegal immigrants “clearly in view.”

The board did set some conditions for admitting illegal aliens, however. Among them are that they must graduate from a U.S. high school and that they don’t displace a state resident or legal U.S. resident from a class or program.

Isn't that decent of N.C.? Go to the link for the remainder of this article which also states that "Latino rights advocates were quick to cry racism and discrimination" when the Attorney General ordered the state to stop illegal immigration. Of course they hollered to high heaven! Everyone in this country, even illegal immigrants, are supposed to get a free ride at taxpayer's expense.

Even though I am not a resident of North Carolina (thank you, Lord!) this truly does tick me off bigtime because I, like many of you who read this, paid good money - and a LOT OF MONEY to send our children to college and we paid our taxes at the same time we were being taken to the cleaners by the college of our choice. This is nothing but thievery, pure and simple and it's criminally unfair to our children! Of course stealing from us isn't anything new for the government regardless of whose holding the power in Washington, D.C. and in many states as well. Far too many holding political office have forgotten who they're supposed to be working for.

By now it should be glaringly apparent to everyone that the goal of Democrats who are in political power is to control every part of our lives and take advantage of the honest, hardworking citizens of this country who pay taxes while they mollycoddle the illegal aliens and the slackers in order to garner votes for themselves. Trust me, if the Dems have anything to say about it, illegal aliens will be able to vote. After all, dead people can!

AUGUST 27 IS "PULPIT FREEDOM SUNDAY"

Septenber 27 is "Pulpit Freedom Sunday," supposedly the time when pastors can speak the truth of the gospel - as they interpret it - and as they see the gospel applying to candidates in elections.

According to this article at One News Now:

"Pulpit Freedom Sunday" is a way for pastors to express their constitutional rights -- and hopefully set up a court challenge that will overturn the Johnson Amendment as unconstitutional and restore the rights of pastors to speak freely once and for all."

The Johnson Amendment - or as I call it "The Gag Order" can cause a church to lose their tax-exempt status if they preach their political views. Well, after hearing Reverend Wright rant and rave in several videos before and after Obama's election as POTUS, I doubt he - and many others - are paying any attention whatsoever to that particular amendment. Was Reverend Right's church, Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, forced to pay taxes? Somehow I highly doubt it. I think Wright's only punishment was being thrown under the bus by Obama.

At any rate, I'm very happy I won't be sitting in a pew at Reverend Wright's church this Sunday!

Children Chanting Obama's Name on Video Wakes up a Flaming Liberal!

A friend called me this morning who I know to be a flaming liberal and she was mad as hell about the video I posted on yesterday's post of the children chanting "Barack Hussein Obama." She said she saw it on the news and I've never heard this person that furious! She said what Obama is doing is the same thing Castro, Chavez and other dictators do when they post their images all over the place and she was so furious she couldn't even comb her hair because she was shaking. She admitted I was right about Obama all along and apologized for being so stupid!

If that video could do that, then there is definitely hope and I hope that it is shown over and over. I'm posting it again for anyone who may have missed it:

Why would anyone be surprised by this? Obama is throwing America on the chopping block, so why not Israel too? It's hard not to conclude that Obama is not a fan of either Israel or Poland, or any of our allies or even of the United States of America! It's also difficult to not realize that Obama is doing his utmost best to destroy western culture and at the same time make an idol out of himself! Obama's speech at the UN on Wednesday was so self-agrandising it's a stark reality that Obama is fan of two things: Barack Hussein Obama and a One World Order.

"Mrs. Sanders, this is Dr. Jones at St. Agnes Laboratory. When your husband's doctor sent his biopsy to the lab last week, a biopsy from another Mr. Sanders arrived as well.

We are now uncertain which one belongs to your husband. Frankly, either way the results are not too good."

"What do you mean?" Mrs. Sanders asks nervously.

"Well, one of the specimens tested positive for Alzheimer's and the other one tested positive for HIV. We can't tell which is which."

"That's dreadful! Can you do the test again?" questioned Mrs. Sanders.

"Normally we can, but the new health care system will only pay for these expensive tests just one time."

"The folks at Obama Care recommend that you drop your husband off somewhere in the middle of town. If he finds his way home, don't sleep with him."

I knew it! It didn't take a brain surgeon to realize this would happen. The house majority leader says he wants more facts before he pulls the plug on federal funding of ACORN!

Hoyer Wants More Facts on ACORN Before Pulling Funding

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) said Tuesday that Congress needs to gather more facts before it decides whether to cut off all federal funds for ACORN, the liberal nationwide network of community-based organizations.

At a press briefing on Tuesday, CNSNews.com asked Hoyer: “You voted a couple of days ago for an amendment which prohibited federal funding from going to ACORN. Are you committed to ensuring that a final bill which prohibits federal funding of ACORN passes this year and will you urge President Obama to sign that bill into law?”

Hoyer said: “As you probably heard [House Education and Labor Chairman] George Miller [D-Calif.] say on the floor, there was no money in that bill for ACORN. I think we’re going to be looking at what in fact are the facts here with respect to ACORN. Once we find out what the facts are then we’ll be in a better position to make a determination [on funding].”

“That amendment was [passed] to make a point, but there were no funds in that bill to go to ACORN,” said Hoyer.

They're going to fight removing federal funding from ACORN. The bill has to pass the Senate and both houses before Obama signs it. As the article says, if the ACORN amendment is stripped out either in the Senate or in conference, it will not become law.

Is there anyone out there believes we taxpayers won't be funding ACORN? Why would Obama sign an amendment to remove federal funding from ACORN when he actually gained his seat behind the desk in the Oval Office because of ACORN? He owes them a humongous debt! Yes, he's great at throwing individuals under the bus, but an entire organization that he actually owes his presidency to? Highly doubtful. Besides, he's far too busy going on television shows and pissing off our allies to be signing anything. Poor man works so hard, you know.

President Obama may change course again as the war worsens in Afghanistan, steering away from the comprehensive counterinsurgency strategy he laid out this spring and toward a narrower focus on counterterror operations aimed at al-Qaeda.

The White House is looking at expanding counterterror operations in Pakistan as an alternative to a major military escalation in Afghanistan.

Two senior administration officials said Monday that the renewed fight against al-Qaeda could lead to more missile attacks on Pakistan terrorist havens by unmanned U.S. spy planes. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because no decisions have been made.

The armed drones could contain al-Qaeda in a smaller, if more remote, area and keep its leaders from retreating back into Afghanistan, the officials said.

From that article we have this from Juan Carlos Zarate, a former official in the Bush and Clinton administrations: "This is tough for Democrats. They own this war. They own what happens from here on out. This is a bit of a mess for them all the way around."

It's a mess all the way around for everyone! We have a president who holds more power than anyone in the world whose only experience has been as a community organizer and a senator who couldn't even figure out how to push the right buttons and whose one and apparently only talent is being able to read aloud phenomenally well! Is it any surprise we are in a mess?

He's constantly on television and over the weekend did so-called interviews on NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN and Univision. Does anyone actually watch Univision? Nevermind. I digress. He doesn't seem to understand he's overexposing himself and people are growing sick and tired of seeing him on television every day but the polls are proving it to be true. Some on Fox News lament that he won't go on Fox News because he may actually be asked questions that matter instead of vapid questions such as who he's going to pick to win the World series? Does anyone really care?

I have dreams about Obama not being POTUS anymore. I have wonderful dreams about a president who actually cares about America and knows he or she is working for us. I have dreams about there being no corruption in Washington (Okay. I admit it's a silly fantasy!) and I have dreams that even more people will wake up and that Obama will suddenly be in the following position, but so far it's unfortunately only a dream:

The poor man is so far out of touch with reality it's beyond belief! Of course many others of the far left have not hesitated to use the racist card against those of us who object to government run health care and other policies Obama has been implementing or is attempting to put in place. They believe we suffer from so much white guilt that we'll simply give up the fight. How stupid is that?

To those who say we are only against Obama's policies and his push toward the federal government running our health care simply because he's black, I ask: "Is Hillary Clinton black?" Evidently she is, because we also objected to it when she was the first lady and was trying to push it off on us. Get real you far-left dingbats! It wouldn't matter if Obama were white or any other color, it wouldn't matter if he really were the Messiah, the fact is that Americans do not want the Government running our health care because the majority of us understand that the Government screws everything up!

Personally, I don't give a fig who calls me a racist because I know who I am and I know what I stand for and I do understand that stupid is as stupid does. I believe those using the racist card in regard to Obama are running scared and desperate. Yes, of course there are still racists in this country, but they are a minority, not a majority and definitely not the people who marched on Washington D.C. on September 12 and held tea parties all over this country.

From watching this video she seems very proud of having murdered him. Wonder how she feels about the two young people posing as a pimp and a prostitute now? HA!

The video shows an ACORN worker not only going along with child prostitution but admitting she killed her husband! She even tells how she shot him dead. Incredible! ACORN is accusing the two young people who did the undercover work of doctoring the videos but at the same time they are firing the ACORN workers in the videos. Why would they do that if the videos were doctored?

Questions: Is it possible to get the people at the very top of ACORN? If so, will they just reorganize under another name? Why isn't there an independent investigation of ACORN? Is it because the fruits and nuts running ACORN are sitting fat and happy in government offices in Washington, D.C?

I'll answer that last one myself. OF COURSE IT IS! There are a lot of people in our government who need to be put behind bars for a long, long time!

Always is at the hospital so a friend, The Merry Widow, wrote the short post for her. The stroke wasn't discovered until this morning and it "occurred on the right side of his brain, so his left side is paralysed, but he is coherent and can remember things..." I ask that you visit her and give her your support and prayers.

HOUSTON – In the absence of adequate federal resources to secure the state’s southern border, Gov. Rick Perry today announced the state’s latest border security enhancement using highly-skilled Ranger Reconnaissance (Ranger Recon) Teams to address the ever evolving threat along the Texas-Mexico border. He also repeated his call for Washington to approve the 1,000 Title 32 National Guard troops he has been requesting since January. Additionally, the governor announced the award of $2 million in state criminal justice funds to the Border Sheriff’s Coalition for continued utilization of video surveillance technology along the border.

“Texas’ proven border security strategy is based on putting boots on the ground and equipping those personnel with the technology, training and funding they need to stem the flow of contraband across our border. Deploying Ranger Recon Teams to high-traffic, high-crime areas along the border will enhance our efforts,” Gov. Perry said. “This is the latest in a series of aggressive actions we’ve taken to fill the gap left by the federal government’s ongoing failure to adequately secure our international border.”

Good for Governor Perry! The "absense of adequate federal resources" wouldn't be an issue if we had a government interested in stemming the flow of illegals from across our southern border and it's not just Obama at fault here. Illegals have been flooding this country long before this country became an Obamanation.

On a sidenote, Obama has finally done something I agree with although it doesn't sound very presidential. He called Kanye West a 'Jackass'!

I wonder if Pelosi will reprimand Obama for being unpresidential like she's going to reprimand Congressman Wilson today for yelling out "YOU LIE!" during Obama's joint session of Congress? BWAAAHAAHAA! Just kidding! Wilson has said he'll stand his ground and will not apologize again. You go, Congressman!

Be sure to catch Glenn Beck's program on Fox News today. He said what he's going to expose about Acorn is even worse that the videos of ACORN approving child prostitution! I don't see how it can get much worse than that, so this is going to be very interesting.

He says "it takes several rings before it is answered so don't give up after only a few rings thinking no one will answer. They will get to you and are very polite."

Dear Congressman Wilson,

This letter is to let you know that you spoke for both my husband and myself when you shouted out "YOU LIE!" during Obama's speech. We understood your frustration completely and as a matter of fact I didn't hear what you said until Fox News played it back because I was hollering rather uncomplimentary things myself.

What this administration is trying to push off on us is totally unconscionable. There are so many things wrong with what this President wants to do that I don't even know where to begin. Quite honestly, I didn't even know who you were until you spoke the truth from your heart and I'm glad you did because you not only spoke for me, you spoke for all Americans who love this country, our God given freedom and our Constitution.

America is the greatest country this world has ever seen. We must take America back and get rid of the special interest groups that are doing their level best to destroy it!

Congressman, I commend you for saying on Fox News on Sunday that you would not apologize again. This week Pelosi is going to make a darn fool out of herself (again) by trying to make you apologize... again! Of course being who she is she can't help herself. Stand firm and strong, because the truth will never let you down in the long run.

To Obama: In America We Do Not Tolerate Kings!

I'd say the 9/12 demonstration in Washington, D.C. was a raging success! But of course Obama left Washington in order to push his Government Health Plan in Minnesota. If you are reading this and you believe Obama is going to change his mind and drop what he calls "the Public Option", please think again. This is the president who seems to love the phrase "I WILL NOT TOLERATE...." whatever the subject is that he will not tolerate. What does he think he is, a King? Oops! Of course he does and thus Americans of both parties and no party at all, people who normally are busy working and providing for their families, dropped everything and marched on Washington D.C. on 9/12. Bless their patriotic hearts!

Michelle Malkin reported on 9/12 that ABC News estimates turnout at 2 million patriotic Americans. I added the "patriotic American's" part because that's who they are! (The actual number seems to be closer to 1.5 million Americans). Like those of us who couldn't be there, they're American patriots who want their country back. But Obama, the delusional king of the court will ignore us... and ultimately lose his crown because you know what? IN AMERICA WE DO NOT TOLERATE KINGS! Just ask any one of those people at the Washington D.C. demonstration and at tea parties all over this country.

And guess what, Barack Hussein Obama? This movement is going to get bigger. Glenn Beck is not the only one in this country demanding the end of corruption in our government!

"Thank You" to Glenn Beck for starting the 9/12 project. Today tea parties will be held all over America and thousands will descend upon Washington DC! It's going to be a very important day.

I also want to thank the young man and woman who pretended to be a pimp and a prostitute and exposed ACORN to the world as the evil institution they truly are, and Glenn Beck should also be added to that "thanks" for being to first to air the videos on the MSM. Just in case you somehow missed seeing them, I'll post them here. The first one is the Baltimore, Maryland video, the second one was taken at an ACORN headquarter' office in Washington, D.C. The people running ACORN and training their people to do this cannot have a soul! The women have been fired because ACORN, just like Obama, has no problem throwing people under the bus whenever convenient, and as much as they deserved to be fired it is those at the very top that deserve to be thrown in jail and the key convenienltly lost!

It seems "The Census Director has sent a letter to the National Headquarters of ACORN notifying the group that it will no longer have a role in conducting the 2010 census. (I'm pretty sure the videos have a lot to do with it.) ACORN had previously been tapped to help with low-level data gathering. That welcome information comes from The 9/12 Project's Website.

Here is just one paragraph of the letter the Census Director sent to ACORN:

Over the last several months, through ongoing communication with our regional offices, it is clear that ACORN's affiliation with 2010 Census promotion has caused sufficient concern in the general public, has indeed become a distraction from our mission, and may even become a discouragement to public cooperation, negatively impacting 2010 Census efforts.

The 2010 census will be filled with so many personal questions the government has no business asking that the census alone will be a discouragement to public cooperation! But at least this is a start. We are beginning to be heard at last! Now to get rid of ACORN altogether! Then we can start on the rest of the asshats in both parties!

The Teardrop Memorial

Regarding a name for this post I had a hard time deciding whether to name it "The Teardrop Memorial" or "The MSM Let's Us Down Once Again." Both titles work!

The "Teardrop Memorial" is a 9/11 memorial site and is located on the Peninsula at Bayonne Harbor, New Jersey. It's lined up to look upon the Statue of Liberty. American Thinker has a lot more on this beautiful memorial.

I'm beyond being fed up with our main stream so-called "media"! I don't live anywhere near New Jersey and probably wouldn't ever know about this if it weren't for the internet. That is a most disgusting and disturbing fact!

This wonderful man, Stephen Patrick Driscoll, had a dream for his parents and with determination he made it happen. The following story comes from here:

When his parents' Bronx neighborhood began to change for the worse, Stephen Patrick Driscoll decided to help them realize their dream of owning a house near a lake. "He was so anxious to get them moved out of their neighborhood," said Gail Silke, Mr. Driscoll's sister, who helped manage the renovations at their parents' new home in Carmel, N.Y. "His goal was to put them somewhere they always wanted to be."

For months, Mr. Driscoll wrangled with contractors and fussed over details to make sure the house, which sits beside Lake Carmel, was perfect. Every night after he left his job with the New York City Police Department's Emergency Services unit, Mr. Driscoll, 38, stopped by his parent's apartment and picked up a box of their belongings. He also secretly restored his 1987 Chevrolet Celebrity so his father would have something to drive once he moved to the suburbs.

On Oct. 13, Mr. Driscoll's parents finally moved into their three-bedroom ranch-style house. That night, Patrick J. Driscoll, Stephen's father, wrote a note for his son and taped it to the front door. It read "Stephen, we finally made it. Love, Mom and Dad."

"I just wanted to let him know that we were here," the elder Mr. Driscoll said. The next morning, the masking tape was still on the door. The note had disappeared.

What a wonderful son he was and my husband and I would have been proud to call him "son". I'm sure his parents are and I'm also certain that they miss him each and every day of their lives. Needless to say, on September 11, 2009, this wonderful man was murdered, along with 2,748 other souls who were simply going about their business.

While far too many Americans may seem to forgotten what we lost that day, Stephen's parents haven't forgotten, the loved ones of the victims haven't forgotten, and we haven't forgotten!

We know God has blessed you, Steven, and you know those left behind still remember you, cherish you, love you and honor you.

As long as we live, WE WILL NOT FORGET! As it says in the following video, "the world saw evil that day."

Congressman Joe Wilson Told the Truth... Obama Lied!

During Obama's speech on health care last night, Congressman Joe Wilson, Republican, SC, shouted "You Lie" at Obama when Obama said: "The reforms I'm proposing would not apply to those who are here illegally." Later, Congressman Wilson, under pressure from both sides of the aisle, apologized. According to this article on the Fox News website:

Wilson's shout drew immediate condemnation from both sides of the aisle, ultimately leading him to apologize. Wilson tried to call Obama to apologize in person, but ended up speaking to White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel.

It may have been a breach in protocol, but at least it was the truth. Obama did lie, and I can't imagine having to apologize to either Rahm Emanuel or Obama. In truth, Congressman Wilson spoke for me!

I didn't see this particular episode during the speech because I didn't watch the entire speech. Against my better judgment I watched most of it and what I heard sounded exactly like the same things Obama has been saying all along. I sincerely believe that Obama needs to apologize to the American people for ignoring the majority of them and for lying to them. Since when do conscionable people put more emphasis on protocol than on truth? Perhaps the key word here is "conscionable"!

The Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) has long criticized the proposed House healthcare bill for its provisions to cover illegal immigrants, and its position has now been supported by a report from the Congressional Research Service (CRS).

CRS is the research arm of the U.S. Congress, and its study has found that under the Affordable Health Care Act of 2009, proposed by the House of Representatives, illegal aliens would potentially be able to receive benefits under the so-called public option.

It has also established the bill does not include a mechanism to prevent illegal immigrants from applying for and receiving "affordability credits" that would help low-income individuals purchase private health insurance.

"These loopholes were intended to extend benefits to illegal aliens while allowing Members of Congress to deny those facts to the American people," says Dan Stein, president of FAIR.

"It is time for the politicians to close [them]," he adds.

CRS is calling on Congress to adopt clearer language that would unequivocally make illegal aliens ineligible for publicly funded or subsidized healthcare and require stringent verification criteria. It also wants a five-year waiting period introduced for legal immigrants to prevent abuses of the system through "healthcare tourism."

Obama Thinks White Folks are Demons

Today Obama is going to present another version of his "Public Option" but I don't know whether I'm going to listen to it or not. Why should I? I don't trust anything he says anymore so why do I want to waste my time listening to more lies? Some may say it's necessary to watch it because it's good to know your enemy. Well, I already know who Obama is and have known for quite some time, so what's the point? After all, Obama said about white folks "They're demons" so any plan he has won't be doing me any good:

Somehow I get the feeling he doesn't care about my health!

Obama also said in reference to his Senate voting record that he pushed the wrong button six times. Lets see now... there's a red button for "Nay", a green button for "Yay" and a yellow button for... um... what's the yellow button for? "Present"? Maybe it stands for "undecided". Whatever the yellow button is for, it's inconceivable to me that he didn't know which button to push. Question: If he can't figure out something that simple, how in the world can anyone think he can figure out how to fix anything as complicated as health care? Either the man is completely stupid or else he was lying when he said that. I don't think he's stupid so I conclude he was lying. Mama said "don't ever trust a liar."

Another thought: If he was telling the truth and really did become confused, then why in the world is he being trusted with the most important button in the world? You know... this one:

I'm happy to say I've never insured an Automobile through Geico, never bought insurance from Progressive, never eaten Sargento Cheese in my lifetime and now I never will! I've used Proctor & Gamble products and that stops immediately. Any I have on hand have been thrown in the trash. I hope that you who are using any of these products or are associated with these companies will have a change of heart. I intend to stand by Glenn Beck and fight for his right to freedom of speech and hope others will do the same. Here's why these cowardly companies are pulling their advertising. Considering Glenn Beck's huge audience, they're making a grave mistake.

The White House released a statement that Van Jones is not and never has been connected to the 9/11 truther crowd, but here's the proof that they lie. Gee... what a shock! Van Jones founded the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights which was connected to STORM (Standing together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement). Here's some history of his radical activism.

It's impossible for me to believe that Obama didn't know about Van Jone's admitted communism or his intentions. Having researched Obama's past associations there's no way any rational person cannot conclude that they are cut from the same cloth because these are the types of individuals Obama has chosen to surround himself with. Right now the focus is on Van Jones even more than Obama, but let's not forget who appointed him!

I'm not going to post this video, but will tell you that the person who placed it on you tube said "Vote for the candidate that will bring us together, and reach across not only the isle, but across race and class. Barack rejects the rancor that has divided our country for over 20 years and will build a government that works for us, the people of the USA. Go O in in 08!"

Yes, "The One" has done a real good job of reaching across the aisle, hasn't he? Can't you just feel the love? He's a busy little bee building the government that works for us, don't you think? Why, if we worked as hard at running this blog as Obama has at building a government that actually works for the people, all the pages would be blank!

Sorry about posting mainly videos, but today is a big day for Dena, and the "Dena" part of "RaDena" (me) is the one who does the typing. It's not exactly a "shift in strategy" as much a "shifty strategy". He's desperate, my friends. He thinks he can bamfoozle Americans again! He's going to attempt to dazzle us with his charm and confuse us with his bullsh*t.

The purpose of this post is to remind people that THIS MAN CANNOT BE TRUSTED! Now that the August recess is over we can count on being lambasted with liberal commercials telling us how wonderful Obama's Health Care plan will be. Obama is going to tell us how he's going to "compromise" with us and tone down some things in the bill, but if we buy into it we're fools. He'll do everything he wants to do whether we like it or not and if some of you reading this don't believe me, here's just seven things he promised to do before he was elected and he's broken every single one of them!

1. He promised transparency in government.
2. He would not let Congressmen slip in Pork Barrel Projects.
3. When laws are written the meetings would be more open to the public.
4. No more secrecy.
5. The public will have five days to look at every bill on line before he signs it.
6. We'll know what's in every bill.
7. Every pork barrrel project will be put on line.

And if you don't believe he said those things, here's the proof:

If that doesn't prove to you that Obama is a liar and no better than a Snake Oil Peddler, then nothing anyone says will ever convince you. So okay... we who are smart enough to see the truth will continue to fight for our country and we will win. We will take our country back with or without you because there are more and more people finally seeing the duplicity of this administration each and every day. We outnumber those of you who still have the blinders on and we will continue to grow as Obama continues to lie to the American people.

Students Fight Back at University of Toledo

Whether it's liberal or conservative, bias in our nations classrooms is wrong, and it's good to know that there are students who are fighting back. The Independent Collegian says College Republicans at the University of Toledo are "making a list of liberal professors who they claim are biased against conservative students." Here are just a few snippets from the article:

"We like to think of it as a liberal professor directory, not a list. Also, we'd like for it to be used as a resource for liberal students who are looking for like-minded professors that will positively affect their grade based on their bias," he said.

Rubin added he and the UT College Republicans are not against professors who have liberal views.

"We realize that some professors are liberal, and that's ok, it's when they completely disregard a student's opinion or they have a bias against them that might affect the way they are treated or graded, is what we think is wrong," Rubin said."

Yeah, I'll just bet there is! I mean, we all know that there isn't any liberal bias by college professors, right? Just because a college professor calls a student "a Fascist Bastard" in class doesn't mean that professor is biased, does it? Sheesh! And a college barring an Anti-Abortion Display doesn't show any liberal bias either, right? And of course this man just imagined he would have to turn himself into a left-wing ideologue before he could get a master's degree.

Those instances are a mere drop in the bucket of the stories we've heard about liberal bias in our colleges. It's rampant and we all know it! It's good to know that at last students are beginning to fight back. Whether liberal or conservative, all teachers and professors should keep their political views to themselves and teach facts, not political dogma. Students should be able to make choices and think for themselves, not have to sit there and be brainwashed or bullied by instructors forcing their own political views down their throats.

When a man who put up an anti-Obama poster and was told by the officer to take it down, the man said "This used to be America." Guess what the Officer said? "It ain't no more, okay!"

So... According to this Security Officer, this "ain't America no more." EXACTLY! And that's precisely why we need to keep up the pressure. We must get our country back. It is we - the people - who politicians are supposed to be working for, not the other way around! The Security Officer says that although other posters are allowed there the one with Obama as The Joker isn't because it has a picture on it. Okay... it's not a flattering picture and we know exactly why he objects to it, but if that poster isn't allowed neither should any others be.

It is unfortunate that the Security Officer is right. This isn't America anymore, not with the present politicians in power... and it is a fact that if they have their way our freedom of choice will be a thing of the past.

It was Herodotus who wrote the postman's code which I take a bit of liberty with:

The following is from Judicial Watch. All emphasis is mine:

Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, announced today that it has obtained documents from the U.S. Census Bureau detailing the substantial involvement of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) in the 2010 Census. Included among the 126 pages of documents obtained by Judicial Watch under threat of a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit, is ACORN's original Census partnership application. The document describes 18 different areas of responsibility requested by the community organization, which is under investigation in multiple states for illegal activity during the 2008 election, including voter registration fraud.

The documents also list the types of organizations ineligible for partnering with the U.S. Census. They include: "...Hate groups, Law enforcement, anti-immigrant groups, any groups that might make people fearful of participating in the Census..." The release of these Obama Commerce Department documents comes in the wake of an Obama Department of Homeland Security report released in April linking opposition to illegal immigration to "rightwing extremist radicalization."

Also, according to Judicial Watch, they (Judicial Watch) "filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request with the Census on March 23, 2009. After the Obama Commerce Department stonewalled, Judicial Watch filed a lawsuit on May 14, 2009. The documents were released to Judicial Watch on May 15, 2009."

So, ACORN was very influential in helping Obama get elected as POTUS and ACORN is under suspicion for Voter Registration Fraud. Well gee whiz... it's just a wee bit late now, isn't it? We have a president who may have been elected because of Fraud committed by ACORN and it's too late to do anything about it. Well, it's not too late to do something about ACORN and it needs to be done before the 2010 election!

NEW YORK — NEW YORK — The United Nations is recommending that children as young as five receive mandatory sexual education that would teach even pre-kindergarteners about masturbation and topics like gender violence.

The U.N.'s Economic, Social and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) released a 98-page report in June offering a universal lesson plan for kids ranging in age from 5-18, an
"informed approach to effective sex, relationships" and HIV education that they say is essential for "all young people."

The U.N. insists the program is "age appropriate," but critics say it's exposing kids to sex far too early, and offers up abstract ideas — like "transphobia" — they might not even understand.

"At that age they should be learning about ... the proper name of certain parts of their bodies," said Michelle Turner, president of Citizens for a Responsible Curriculum, "certainly not about masturbation."

Turner was disturbed by UNESCO's plans to explain to children as young as nine about the safety of legal abortions, and to advocate and "promote the right to and access to safe abortion" for everyone over the age of 15.

Liberal Democrats in our government attempt to steal liberty from American citizens and liberals in the UN attempt to steal the innocence of children. If Satan isn't involved I'd like to know who is!

Although I'm not a parent of a very young child anymore, I'm still extremely furious at this attempt to destroy all things of value. The innocence of children should be held sacred and dear. I don't believe young children need to know about masterbation. I wouldn't put it past some people to give demonstrations on exactly how it's done! "Hands on" you know! Ugh! Although children do need to know that not all adults are safe and that they can't just walk off with anyone, this is going far beyond what is normal or even rational. And to think they would even consider teaching about abortion to nine-year-olds! Tell me evil isn't running the UN!

To the United Nations I say "keep your stinking hands off of our children"! To the American Government I say, "they're our children, not yours. As parents we have the right to choose what they are taught, not you!" To the American people I say: "If you have to take two jobs to do it, if you care at all about your children, either send them to a private school that you have checked out thoroughly, or stay at home and homeschool them. The nuts have taken over the public school system and rational thinking has completely and utterly left the building!"

Worst President in US History to Head Special Interrogation Unit!

The new unit does not mean the CIA is now out of the interrogation business, White House Deputy Press Secretary Bill Burton told reporters.

Burton said the unit would include “all these different elements under one group” and it would be situated at the FBI headquarters in Washington. The unit would be led by an FBI official, with a deputy director from somewhere in the government’s vast intelligence apparatus, and members from across agencies. The White House will directly supervise it. ……The new group and new directives to rely solely on the Army Field Manual when interrogating prisoners is an attempt by the administration to separate itself from allegations that the previous administration tortured some prisoners.

I repeat "the White House will directly supervise it"

A new, special terrorism-era interrogation unit supervised by the White House! The thought is mind-boggling. Just think about it! One of MK's commenters named "Debbie" said: I can see it now, the interrogation will consist of using a feather to "tickle" the suspected enemy combatant into confessing his evil plot..." but that's not what has me worried. What has me worried is exactly who Obama considers to be "terrorists." With many of the Dems in power calling the people at Town Hall Meetings "Nazis" and "Mobs" there's a very real possibility that not only radical Muslims will be considered terrorists. This may seem far-fetched to some who read this but it doesn't seem so to me. Not after having heard Nancy Pelosi falsely accuse those who are voicing their objections at Tea Parties of carrying Swastikas and Brian Baird accusing people protesting at Town Halls of being "Brown Shirts"!

A question: Just who really emulates Nazi's anyway? It sure isn't Americans fighting to preserve our freedom! And historically, just who is it who usually heads up private armies? Hmmm? Do any of these people come to mind?

I love the part where David Hedrick, a former Marine, tells Brian Baird: "Stay away from my kids!" and "I did sign an oath to defend my country against all enemies, foreign and domestic." After this Marine finishes speaking it becomes very clear he, like many of us, (probably more than we know) considers our present government a domestic enemy.

In this follow-up video Sean Hannity shows a small clip from the above video and interviews Mr. Hedrick. Mr. Hedrick isn't bashful about saying what he believes and thank goodness more people are finally getting it!

Good news: "Reid Trails GOP Challenger By Double Digits in New Poll." We're going to be seeing a lot more of this. WOO HOO! Let's pray Reid is kicked to the curb and that it's just the beginning! There are obviously more people angry and scared than the Democrats in power realize... or at least than they will admit.

I've been reading all the crazy headlines and haven't had any lightning bolt strike me to tell me what to decide to post about because it's all nutso out there! I am completely bamfoozled about so many things:

1. What does Obama mean when he says "wee wee'd up?" Well, thank goodness we have Robert Gibbs to explain it! (sarcasm)

2. Nanc at "It's Curtains for You" sent the following video. I wasn't exactly confused about why Obama was elected. What I'm really confused about is why the people who elected him didn't care what sort of change he was going to inflict on us!

3. If everything is on the up-and-up with Obama's birth certificate, why does he refuse to let us see it?

4. If everything is on the up-and-up-with Obama's college transcripts, why does he refuse to let us see them?

5. How can anyone actually believe the anger of real citizens at the Town Hall meetings is manufactured? Representative Lloyd Doggett (D-Texas) obviously does. He says "The Republican Party has coordinated this apparent outrage and stirred it up." Well, let them believe as they wish. They're wrong and and I believe they know it. As Max Pappas from Freedom Works says, "Those inside the Beltway need to know that you can't fake this sort of outrage outside the Beltway. It only happens when they are very concerned about what is going on inside of Washington, and it's a clear sign that people are very concerned." In my humble opinion it's also a clear sign that people are mad as hell!

Both myself and hubby have to frequently take deep breaths to keep our blood presssure down. If the average citizen is even half as angry as we are then Obama had better wake up or come August of 2010 he's going to find himself without a majority in the House and Senate. Perhaps we should hope he remains oblivious and continues to insult the American people!

Luntz says: "You're calling it a Public Option, which is what the White House calls it. Are you sure it isn't a "government option? It's sponsored by the government. It's paid for by the government. It's one of the most important points in this entire debate. If you call it a 'Public Option' the American people are split. If you call it a 'Government Option, the public is overwhelmingly against it."

Luntz is right. The "Public Option" is only another example of the liberal Democrat's rather successful attempt to mislead people. If this plan is pushed off on us we will have no options, period! So, if it looks like a duck........

Lunz is wrong about one thing though: It's won't be "paid for by the government." Once again a reminder: The government has no money except what they get from us through taxes, so their "Public Option" will actually be paid for by the Public who will not have any so-called "Options"!

Too be 100% accurate, "Government Health Mandate" would be a far more accurate term so let's call it what it is.

DINNER AT THE WHITE HOUSE

DINNER AT THE WHITE HOUSE(Dinner with Obama, a parable)

Once upon a time, I was invited to the White House for a private dinner with the President. I am a respected businessman, with a factory that produces memory chips for computers and portable electronics. There was some talk that my industry was being scrutinized by the administration, but I paid it no mind. I live in a free country. There's nothing that the government can do to me if I've broken no laws. My wealth was earned honestly, and an invitation to dinner with an American President is an honor.

I checked my coat, was greeted by the Chief of Staff, and joined the President in a yellow dining room. We sat across from each other at a table draped in white linen. The Great Seal was embossed on the china. Uniformed staff served our dinner.

The meal was served, and I was startled when my waiter suddenly reached out, plucked a dinner roll off my plate, and began nibbling it as he walked back to the kitchen.

"Sorry about that," said the President. "Andrew is very hungry."

"I don't appreciate..." I began, but as I looked into the calm brown eyes across from me, I felt immediately guilty and petty. It was just a dinner roll. "Of course," I concluded, and reached for my glass. Before I could, however, another waiter reached forward, took the glass away and swallowed the wine in a single gulp.

"And his brother Eric is very thirsty." said the President.

I didn't say anything. The President is testing my compassion, I thought. I will play along. I don't want to seem unkind.

My plate was whisked away before I had tasted a bite.

"Eric's children are also quite hungry."

With a lurch, I crashed to the floor. My chair had been pulled out from under me. I stood, brushing myself off angrily, and watched as it was carried from the room.

"And their grandmother can't stand for long."

I excused myself, smiling outwardly, but inside feeling like a fool. Obviously I had been invited to the White House to be sport for some game. I reached for my coat, to find that it had been taken. I turned back to the President.

"Their grandfather doesn't like the cold."

I wanted to shout- that was my coat! But again, I looked at the placid smiling face of my host and decided I was being a poor sport. I spread my hands helplessly and chuckled. Then I felt my hip pocket and realized my wallet was gone. I excused myself and walked to a phone on an elegant side table. I learned shortly that my credit cards had been maxed out, my bank accounts emptied, my retirement and equity portfolios had vanished, and my wife had been thrown out of our home. Apparently, the waiters and their families were moving in. The President hadn't moved or spoken as I learned all this, but finally I lowered the phone into its cradle and turned to face him.

"Andrew's whole family has made bad financial decisions. They haven't planned for retirement, and they need a house. They recently defaulted on a subprime mortgage. I told them they could have your home. They need it more than you do."

My hands were shaking. I felt faint. I stumbled back to the table and knelt on the floor. The President cheerfully cut his meat, ate his steak and drank his wine. I lowered my eyes and stared at the small grey circles on the tablecloth that were water drops.

"By the way," He added, "I have just signed an Executive Order nationalizing your factories. I'm firing you as head of your business. I'll be operating the firm now for the benefit of all mankind. There's a whole bunch of Erics and Andrews out there and they can't come to you for jobs groveling like beggars."

I looked up. The President dropped his spoon into the empty ramekin which had been his creme brulee. He drained the last drops of his wine. As the table was cleared, he lit a cigarette and leaned back in his chair. He stared at me. I clung to the edge of the table as if it were a ledge and I were a man hanging over an abyss. I thought of the years behind me, of the life I had lived. The life I had earned with a lifetime of work, risk and struggle. Why was I punished? How had I allowed it to be taken? What game had I played and lost? I looked across the table and noticed with some surprise that there was no game board between us.

What had I done wrong?

As if answering the unspoken thought, the President suddenly cocked his head, locked his empty eyes to mine, and bared a million teeth, chuckling wryly as he folded his hands.

"You should have stopped me at the dinner roll," he said.

Wake up America !!!

But there are other things Obama attempts to take away. Now he's filed to repeal DOMA (Defense of Marriage Act). One has to wonder if he's decided to do as much damage as possible regardless of whether or not he's elected for another term. It sure looks that way!

Governor Hutchison promised to balance the budget then voted to raise the national debt ceiling ten times.

She pledged to serve only two terms as a Senator and ran for a third term in 2006. She's been a Senator for over 16 years.

She proposed a 28-point plan to reform Congress and close the revolving door of lobbyists, then she never introduced the plan. She hired a lobbyist as chief of stff and offered to be a "character witness" for Jack Abramoff's lobbying partner.

She said federal mandates hurt Texas small businesses the supported federally mandated unemployment insurance expansion and criticised Gov. Rick Perry for refusing it.

She made history as the first female Senator from Texas and also made history as the first Senator to be banned by Google. (Seems there was hidden text in the Web site's source code.)

She was scornful of "Washingon handlers and image-makers" and hired a host of non-Texan mercenaries with Washington ties to run her campaign for Governor.

She promised to avoid conflicts of interest with husband's lucrative legal practice and sponsored billions of dollars in earmarks for entities that hire her husband to do project legal work. Her husbands law firm is her biggest Senate campaign contributor.

She said "We cannot afford to continue to spend ourselves into debt" then voted for a $700 billion Wall Street bailout - actual price tag of financial bailout programs now projected to cost $23 trillion.

She promoted Campaign contribution limits for Political Action Committees (PACs) and formed her own PAC to receive over 2 million in contributions.

Taking a Break

Going to be taking a break from it all for four or five days. The idiocy of the left is wearing me down. I need to recharge and recuperate... then I'll be back with a vengeance! But it is time to smell the roses and look up at the stars at night and do some contemplation, remembering that in the long run we do know who is in charge and all will be well regardless of the fools. Still, we are directed to fight evil when we see it and believe me, we are seeing a lot of it!

In the meantime, keep the faith.

Linda Douglass Goebbels, (Goebbels is my addition), the propaganda minister that the White House calls the public relations director introduced and e-mail site, flag@whitehouse.gov, which is designed to supposedly flag,"misinformation" about Obama's health care bill. The site solicits Americans to snitch on other American who disagree with administration policy on health care.

The major problem with this illegal site is that it is a direct violation of the Constitution. Violating both our free speech right to dissent with government policy WITHOUT fear of reprisal or being reported for our dissent and our right to privacy. Douglass tries to argue that because of the vast amount of information available through various forms of communication the snitch site makes it possible for people who find something about health care that they are "worried" about to just send it to the White House.

Criticism of the site claims that it will comprise an enemies list which allows the Executive Branch to keep an eye on those who oppose health care policy. Douglass in the above video denies that anything will be kept. A blatant lie that in itself is against the law. Federal law states that ALL communication with the White House cannot be deleted and must be kept for legal and historical reasons which translates into compiling all reports of "misinformation."

The next violation of the law that this site preforms is the illegal act of recording citizens practicing the right of free speech. The Privacy Act of 1974 provides that any communication of free speech by citizens CANNOT be compiled in any form by the White House or any other government entity.

Where is the ACLU over this violation of the civil liberties of American who dissent with government policy? Of course we all know that the ACLU only stands against perceived violations of civil liberties that are done by conservatives. Liberals can violate the law and civil liberties whenever they want and NOTHING is said.

Adding to this is the fact that this particular violation of the Constitution is an illegal act being preformed by the office of The President of the United States. With the full authority and backing of the President himself. Richard Nixon was run out of town on a rail for similar actions and Obama is allowed to act without opposition by some of the same liberals who condemned and sought to destroy Nixon. This is not to defend Nixon but to emphasis the illegality of what Obama is doing through this snitch site.

How long will Barack Obama and his administration be allowed to continually violate the Constitution and perform illegal activity before action is taken against this activity? The law is the law and not one citizen in the Nation INCLUDING the President is above the law no matter what the reasoning. Just ask Richard Nixon's family.

Notice the difference between the Specter video and the Town Hall Obama held in New Hampshire on the same day and you tell me whether or not you thought the audience was pre-packed or not. As the little girl in the audience indicated, the people objecting to his plan are standing outside. Figures! Will we ever get the truth from this President? Obviously not!

It's Un-American to Object to the Proposed Health Care Bill but Okay to Terrorize Children!

Seems it's okay to off the elderly citizens of this country, but for heaven's sake, don't kill a chicken! Obviously it's as American as apple pie to terrorize children but according to Nancy Pelosi, it's un-American for citizens to protest a bill that would give preferential treatment to younger citizens and help us older citizens to off ourselves!

In the medical journal The Lancet (January 2009 [PDF]) Obama's special health policy advisor Ezekiel Emanuel wrote that if healthcare has to be rationed, he prefers the "complete lives system," which "discriminates against older people."

Dr. Devon Herrick, a senior fellow at the National Center for Policy Analysis, says Emanuel believes young adults should be given preferential care over seniors because they have more years of their life ahead of them.

Yes, let's all be good little boys and girls and march off into the wilderness of government controlled health care, shall we? Doesn't matter that the people pushing this pos bill aren't going to have the same plan, does it? After all, they're the elite... in their little minds we work for them, they don't work for us, and if we don't march off into the sunset when we get old and sick and off ourselves, well - we're un-American!

This Town Hall meeting to discuss Health Care took place in Tampa Florida yesterday evening. They closed the doors on people at a public meeting!

The Politics page at Fox News has the story which says it was nearly a riot!

People are genuinely angry. How's that attempt to silence people who oppose the proposed Health Care plan working out for you, Obama?

Notice the ages of the people in the above video and in all of the videos that have been shown regarding the Health Care Town Hall meetings. They aren't youngsters like most of those at the Obama rallies, are they? No, they are older folks who have worked most of their lives and for some silly reason want to hang on to what they have worked for and demand their right to be able to make choices about their own health care. If you're my age you don't want the government deciding what you are going to do if you should become gravely ill, and you sure don't want to be forced to seek out "end of life counseling" as this monstrosity of a bill proposes!

“I’ve read about a third of HR 3200 and the counseling parts are designed to encourage euthanasia,” claimed Dr. Katherine Schlaerth, an associate professor of family medicine at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. “Seniors will be counseled every five years, and more often if they get sicker.”

Nearly 30% of America's population is made up of Baby Boomers, people born between the ages of 1945 and 1964. During the peak of the boom 4.3 million Americans were born! As it becomes apparent to even more people that the government wants us to choose to off ourselves, more and more people are going to become furious. Wonder why the present administration overlooked this little fact?

America's Love Affair With Obama is Dwindling

Perhaps it takes pictures like this to get the word out but I vehemently wish that it didn't. I don't like it when it's done to Presidents I like, and even though I detest Obama and his socialist programs, I wish we lived in a more civilized world where all people actually would do research in order to stay informed, but the last election definitely proves that they don't, although we probably wish we didn't have to live with the proof!

Will Americans Pay More Attention in the 2012 Presidential Election?

Today, 66 percent of blacks say the Bible is totally accurate in all of the principles it teaches. Only 49 percent of the general U.S. population agrees. Eighty-six percent of blacks say their religious faith is very important in their life while 72 percent of the American public says so.

More than four out of five African Americans also say loving God is the single, most important purpose of their life and that God is the all-powerful, all-knowing, perfect creator of the universe who rules the world. Meanwhile, three out of five in the general U.S. population agree with those statements.

African Americans are markedly more religious when it comes to attending church, participating in a small group, praying and reading the Bible.

QUESTION: So how come 95% of America's black population voted for Obama? According to the link our black population is more religious percentage-wise than our white population by 10% and yet we have a president who most blacks consider to be black even though he's half white, making speaches where he claims America is not a Christian Nation! Obama made the following speech in 2006. We had plenty of warnings! Perhaps people should start paying attention to details before running to the poles in mass to elect someone they don't know anything about because they weren't paying attention - and that goes for all Americans, not just blacks! A compromise has been reached in the House with the so called, "Blue Dog," Democrats which will take the Obamacare health care bill to Committee by Friday. According to reports the Blue Dog compromise allows an exemption for small business, reduces the cost of the ONE TRILLION dollar boondoggle to a, "mere," 900 BILLION dollars and the proposed, "government option," would not be, "forced" on anyone.

The Senate is also working to try and force a bill into committee before Friday. This looks to me that what happened was a "Blue Dog" ruse using the Blue Dogs as a misdirection while the bill was being pushed through in order to prevent any GOP opposition or involvement. Also to prevent any organized opposition before the bill reached committee.

If this is pushed through committee before the August recess and allowed to stand for a vote, when the House and Senate bills are set to go back to committee for compromise before reaching Obama's desk, everything including the medical kitchen sink can be added with nothing or no one to stop it.

Take action now. Flood Congress with phone calls, e-mails, text messaging to Representatives to stop this monstrosity from even reaching committee. Follow this link to contact your House Representative and this link to contact your Senators. Time is of the essence and we the people must stand and force Congress to accountability!

We Can't See Obama's Birth Certificate Without a "Tangible Interest"!

What a load of pure and utter crap!

We can't see it because we - the American people - don't have a "tangible interest"!

An article at the Chicago Sun-Times claims that Hawaii officials are again saying Obama was born in Hawaii. The article also says that "state law bars release of a certified birth certificate to anyone who does not have a tangible interest."

So does that mean that American citizens don't have the right to see a copy of Obama's birth certificate because we don't have a "tangible interest"? I don't know about you, but my interest is tangible. I can feel it!

This is all so utterly stupid. All we want is to see the blasted birth certificate! The fact that it has never been shown, other than a computer generated version of what was supposed to be his birth certificate which was created in HTML, has only made our interest more intense. And if American citizens don't have a right to know that the president is a United States citizen would someone please tell us who the hell does?

Obama's own paternal grandmother, half-sister, and half-brother confirmed that Obama was born in Kenya. It would be interesting to know what motivation they would have for lying about it.

Okay. The bottom line is this: If Obama was really born in the U.S., what would be the motivation for not showing the actual birth certificate? Can anyone think of a valid reason not to do so other than the fact that he can't? Shouldn't he have to prove that he actually is a citizen of the United States before even running for office?

Hawaii may have a weird law of some sort that says they can't release the birth certificate but what does that matter? You can pay a very small sum and get a copy of your birth certificate any time you want and you can show it to whoever you wish. There is no law against that!

It's utterly impossible not to conclude the birth certificate is non-existant. We'll believe otherwise when we see the proof.

Violent Jihad Plot Discovered in North Carolina

7 Arrested in N.C. for Plotting 'Violent Jihad'

WASHINGTON — A father, his two sons and four other men living in North Carolina are accused of mililtary-style training at home and plotting "violent jihad" abroad, federal authorities said Monday.

Officials said the men were led by Daniel Patrick Boyd, a married 39-year-old who lived in an unassuming lakeside home in a rural area south of Raleigh, where he and his family walked their dog and operated a drywall business.

But court records indicate Boyd was a veteran of terrorist training camps in Pakistan and Afghanistan who fought against the Soviet Union.

"These charges hammer home the point that terrorists and their supporters are not confined to the remote regions of some far away land but can grow and fester right here at home," U.S. Attorney George E.B. Holding said.

If our government, both Republican and Democrat, tried to keep us from knowing about Jihadist training camps, what else might they not be telling us? Brad Pitt Wants Stimulus Money

A rich and famous Hollywood actor who collects exorbitant paychecks per film could get millions of dollars in federal stimulus funds for a charity he created to “help lessen the burdens of government” by rebuilding homes in low-income neighborhoods. "Lesson the burden of government"! When will someone "lesson the burden" of the American taxpayer? I suppose the answer to that has something to do with flying pigs.)

Multi-millionaire Brad Pitt, who makes about $20 million a movie, has applied and will likely get, a substantial chunk of taxpayer money to expand his new nonprofit (Make It Right), which supposedly builds affordable “green” homes that are energy efficient for those who normally could not afford them. ($20 million a movie! So... wouldn't a real hero do this on his own dime? Or at least find some other way of funding his oh-so-charitable project without breaking the backs of taxpayers? Silly me!)

Although Pitt claims on the group’s income tax exempt form that its purpose is to help lessen the burdens of government by assisting in the rebuilding of communities, he still wants taxpayers to help fund the projects. The world-renowned movie star fully expects to get a piece of $65 million in stimulus funds administered by the Department of Housing and Urban Development for the “neighborhood stabilization” of poverty-stricken areas.

Judicial Watch goes on to say that if it's up to Nancy Pelosi, Pitt will probably get the stimulus money. They say she "trembled like a schoolgirl" when he visited the Capitol to promote his charity, and they leave a link to Deadline USA, but You Tube has it too, of course. We didn't notice her "trembling like a schoolgirl" but we did hear her call Pitt a "Hero". Sorry, Nancy. We know what a real hero is and what a real hero does. Brad Pitt can only pretend to be a hero in films. In real life he doesn't even come close to cutting the mustard!

Where's the Government Health Care Plan for Pets?

While Obama is trying to push his socialist health-care plan through, what about a health care plan for pets? For heaven's sake, don't liberals care about animals?

We pay $95 per month for medication to keep our pets from getting heartworm. We also paid $1,000 to have a broken bone repaired in one of our cat's hips. Then that same cat developed crystals in his urine which blocked him from being able to urinate, which cost over $600. If we hadn't had the money for the first surgery, our poor cat would be crippled. If we hadn't had the money for the last treatment, the money for the surgery would have been a waste because our cat would be dead.

Really good veterinarians are expensive! Even bad veterinarians are expensive. Poor people can't afford to spend that sort of money on their pets. We haven't done a survey, but it would be interesting to know how many people in this country owned either a cat, a dog, or both. Now if those people could get government sponsored health care for their pets it would really free them up to be able to pay for their own health insurance, right? And millions of animals in this country who get no health care at all would be so extremely grateful!

So, Obama, why don't you look into this? After all, you are supposed to be the people who care more about animals than us mean old conservatives.

Court docs: Octomom inks reality TV deal for her 14 kids

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Octuplet mother Nadya Suleman has signed agreements for each of her 14 children to earn $250 a day to star in a reality television show.
The contracts filed Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court guarantee the children will collectively earn about $250,000 over three years. The contracts require a judge's approval.

European production company Eyeworks has inked the deal with Suleman. Eyeworks lists "Breaking Bonaduce" and "The Biggest Loser" among its television credits.

The show is slated to begin filming Sept. 1, according to the documents.

The payments outlined in the contracts say Suleman's kids will collectively earn $125,000 for 36 days of shooting in the first year of production, $75,000 for 21 days in the second year and $50,000 for 14 days in the third year. Any extra shooting days will be compensated at the same rate.

"Senate Rejects Controversial Concealed Weapons Measure"

WASHINGTON -- The Senate sided with gun control advocates Wednesday by rejecting a measure that would have allowed people with concealed weapons permits to carry those hidden weapons across state borders.

Senators voted for the measure, 58-39, but it fell short of the required 60 votes for approval, based on a procedural agreement between Senate leaders.

It is an unusual setback for the gun rights side, which has been able to muster majorities of Republicans and pro-gun Democrats to move its agenda through both the Bush and Obama administrations.

Opponents say the concealed weapon proposal would force states with tough gun laws to accept gun-carrying visitors from states with weaker laws. The sponsor of the bill, Sen. John Thune, R-S.D., said that was not true and that gun-toters would have to follow the laws of the state they entered.

Over the years I (Dena) have often found it necessary to travel cross-country alone. I always "pack heat" as our oldest son is fond of saying. Being able to do so has probably saved my life on two occasions. I say "probably" because I'm not dead, so am unable to verify that I would have actually been killed, but I'm fairly certain that I would have been had I not had a gun and scared off my attackers. I've never had to pull the trigger, but rest assured I would have had I found it necessary to do so. On both occasions simply pointing the gun was enough to turn the situation in my favor. So now dimwitted Dems in the Senate have decided I no longer have the right to carry a gun if entering a state that doesn't allow a person to carry a registered weapon. I guess I'm supposed to stop at the border and throw the gun away? And we are all now expected to check the gun laws of any state we may be entering to see whether or not we have the right to protect ourselves? I WILL DO SO WHEN THE GOVERNMENT CAN PROMISE ME THERE ARE NO CRIMINALS OUT THERE, THAT THERE IS NO ONE WHO MAY TRY TO HARM A WOMAN DRIVING ALONE, THAT EVERYONE IN THIS COUNTRY IS A LEGAL AMERICAN CITIZEN THAT HAS NO CRIMINAL RECORD AND THAT CARJACKINGS ARE A THING OF THE DISTANT PAST! When they can promise me without reservation that I will always be safe no matter where I go in this country, then I'll think about it. Until then, perhaps you can guess what they can do with this law!

Our Constitution guarantees us the right to self protection. They can TAKE THEIR BULLSH*T LAW AND SHOVE IT! Unlike the idiots who passed this unconstitutional pos crap, we live in the real world. Most of us don't have body guards or drive around in expensive armored SUV's like Obama, or live behind iron gates with security cameras everywhere and expensive security systems. Neither do we get ourselves to where we need to be going by flying around in private jets. Screw them all and the horse they road in on!

If I suddenly disappear it will be because I've been thrown in jail for speaking my mind. If things keep going the way they have been, it won't be long before that becomes a reality too. Americans had better wake up and wake up fast!

The post below this one is a post written by Ken at The Liberal's Lies, and the video was of Carnahan being heckled at a town hall meeting because of his reiterating Obama's talking points on the so-called health care plan.

Friends, the video has been removed. If you scroll down and click on it you'll get the message "the video has been removed by the user. What does that mean? Does it mean it was removed by whoever uploaded it there? Does it mean whoever uploaded there was directed to remove it by You Tube? Does that mean that You Tube was directed to remove it by the government?

I'd like to hear your thoughts on this. It sure looks like big time censorship to me! After all, if it walks like a duck... and talks like a duck... chances are IT'S A DUCK!

Perhaps we should have voted for a Duck!

Barack Obama's health care debacle is running into opposition from all corners of the country. Even in states that voted for him in 2008. In St. Louis, MO, a state that went blue for Obama in 2008, Congressman Russ Carnahan (D) was laughed off the stage by constituents as he relayed Obama talking points about the embattled health care bill.

In Maryland, another Obama blue state in 2008, Senator Ben Cardin (D) who, like his colleague in St. Louis, was relaying Obama health care talking points to his constituents was faced with an angry 27 old man who had recently lost his job and found another paying less money, stated that he chose not to pay for health care in order to use the money for his family in other ways and then demanded that Cardin answer why he would be FINED $2500.00 though Obamacare because he chooses NOT to purchase health care coverage.

Cardin's arrogant answer was to blame this angry American for causing health care costs to be taken care of by others if he were to go to an emergency room. Never once even suggesting that if he went to an emergency room that a payment schedule could be worked out rather than being payed for by others. A typical liberal lie that is used to claim a lack of available health care in America.

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer admits that the health care bill is in deep trouble not from GOP opposition but from blue dog Democrats who dislike the tax increases and the provisions that will cause business to drop private health care forcing employees to buy into government health care.

What Obama and his liberal universal health care backers are refusing to acknowledge in this ,"debate" is that we in The United States have the best and most advanced health care in the world. The quality of care is not the problem nor the availability of care, but the cost. If American health care is as bad as Obama constantly claims in his scare tactic approach then why are people from all over the world whose countries have socialized Obama style health care, leaving their homes and traveling to The United States to get expert care for their medical problems? Care they CANNOT get in their countries BECAUSE of socialized Obama style health care.

The Congressional Budget Office also disputes Obama's claim that his program is budget neutral but rather that it will cost TRILLIONS of dollars to implement because of the massive bureaucracy that will be created to manage the program. Also the CBO concludes that Obama's claim that his program will save money because of the decreasing of health care costs is again a falsehood as it will actually cause costs to rise through the program.

Yes the cost of procedures and medical care is high and needs to be reformed. A huge move toward that would be the implementation of Tort Reform to reduce litigation for medical procedures. This one problem alone forces doctors to preform excess testing in order to prevent law suites.

While reducing cost is the main problem, turning health care over to the government as Obama is pushing is NOT the answer and the people agree as polls are showing that 50% of Americans are against government health care while only 44% favor it. The health care debacle, spending and the failing Cap and Trade legislation is beginning to whittle away at Obama's popularity.

According to Gallup whose polling leans to the left, since Presidential approval ratings began with Harry Truman, Obama ranks 10th out of the twelve President since Truman at this point in their administration. Only Gerald Ford who was suffering from the fall out of Watergate and Bill Clinton who was suffering from fall out of Hillary care polled lower than Obama at this juncture of their administration.

So Obama's agenda including health care is falling as fast as his popularity. Yet in his arrogance he still believes that everyone should bow to his demands. What he is forgetting is that as his coat tails are drying up those in Congressm even in his own party, are not willing to stick out their political necks for Obama.

In his haste to force his agenda Obama is committing political suicide and his numbers are showing the result of his haste. The rebellion against Obama's agenda is growing and Obama cannot handle the response which is showing by his impatience. The people are angry about spending. Angry about deficits. Angry that health care is being forced through for political expedience rather than finding real solutions. Angry that Obama is trying to steal freedom and in this country freedom will prevail.

The "Dena" part of the RaDena team is feeling poorly. Methinks it's the flu, but I don't believe it has anything to do with birds. At any rate, I'll be back when I'm feeling better. The "Ray" part of the RaDena team doesn't know squat about computers. He's responsible though for about half of the subjects of the posts.
