A Much Needed Hiatus

There are many reasons I'm going to have to take time off from now until January. Time and visiting family members are two of them. This is the time of year I choose to thoroughly clean my house from top to bottom and today we are going to be restoring our hardwood floor in the living room. I'll have a houseful of people here throughout Thanksgiving and most of the Christmas Season. DANG! I almost typed "Holiday Season"! The left just keeps banging away, hoping to seep into our very pores. I'm going to have to be cognizant of the fact that their constant harping does wear a person down, just like the homosexuals stole the word "gay" for themselves and Americans barely even noticed it. But I'm getting off-topic.

The most important reason of all for this hiatus is to clear my mind and take a much needed break from politics so that I, and those around me, can truly enjoy and appreciate Thanksgiving and Christmas. I plan on coming back refreshed and renewed in January. I've seriously thought about quitting altogether because my frame of mind when I'm angry (and I'm really angry!) isn't a pleasant thing for anyone to witness. However, as long as Obama is in office I'm probably going to remain angry anyway and at least blogging allows me to vent.

I will check my e-mail two or three times a week and drop by to visit my blogging friends whenever I can. I'm not going to drop out of the internet entirely. I still will need to know what's going on and I get more information from my wonderful blogging friends than I ever will from the news, even Fox News. I not only get better information, I get it sooner. Someday, unless they change their ways, everyone will go to the internet for news and televised news will die off altogether. Some stations are in their death throws already.

I'm going to turn comment moderation off during this time because I wont have the time to keep checking for comments. I'll let my loyal readers respond to any trolls... I know there are some of you who actually enjoy it! There don't seem to be as many around as there used to be. Do you suppose they're also unhappy with Obama? :)

I wish all of you a wonderful Thanksgiving and Christmas. I hope all of you will have beautiful Christmas Trees and I know you will call them "Christmas Trees." To those who insist on calling Christmas Trees "Holiday Trees", why bother even putting one up? Why bother even celebrating Christmas when you don't have a clue as to what it's all about?

The Clocks are Ticking...

...and playing patriotic music.

Last Wednesday was Veterans Day but our town clock is still playing patriotic songs and many more flags are still flying. While in the Church last Saturday setting up for Sunday's service it played "When Johnny Comes Marching Home" and several other patriotic songs. On Sundays it plays Christian Songs. I don't know what it plays on most Saturdays as I'm not usually in town on a Saturday. Last Saturday was an exception.

So why do I tell you this? What does it have to do with the price of tea in China America, right? What I'm leading up to is the fact that it's not only this one town in the middle of Central Texas that does this. There are thousands of small towns all over America that are still patriotic and don't emulate San Francisco, New York City, or anywhere else in the USA where the far-left loony-toons have taken over. The great majority of Americans are still patriotic, they still love this country and our military, and they absolutely detest what Obama is doing to us. That is why most Americans who pay attention to the news watch Fox News and not traitorous stations that know nothing about journalism, patriotism, truth or even justice, and I know you know which ones they are.

Obama and his motley crew don't know who they are messing with. They are messing with the grass roots of America and when the clock plays "When Johnny comes marching home" and I sing the words...

We'll give him a hearty welcome then
Hurrah! Hurrah!
The men will cheer and the boys will shout
The ladies they will all turn out

... I feel ecstatic when our troops return home safe from a long tour at the front of a horrible war. I feel gay, and good and sentimental and by all that's holy and dear I want the word "gay" to mean what it used to mean!

I've noticed no one uses it anymore except when referring to homosexuals. How disgusting is that? But I digress.

Bottom line, watch out Obama. You are messing with our Constitution, our Freedom and our individual right to personal achievement. You are messing with the working man and woman's paychecks and wasting our taxpayer dollars. You are messing with our children, both born and unborn! You are deliberately messing up out nation and even though you and your cronies ignore our teaparties and our rallies and try to undermine conservative critics who vehemently disagree with your idiotic policies you are climbing up a rope that sooner or later will break. You are steadily losing the support of moderate Democrats and your party is divided. You are messing with our military and undermining America by not allowing military tribunals for Muslim Terrorists.

You are steadily undermining everything that is good and decent about America, but we who you consider beneath you, we are watching and our town clocks are not only playing patriotic music, our clocks are ticking and come election time in 2010 you will have your hands tied behind your back because real Americans will do everything in their power to take back the House and the Senate. Your days where you can continue to make a laughing stock out of America are numbered.

UDATE: My dear friends, I doubt signing the petition will change Obama's mind but at least it will let him know we HATE THIS... not that he gives a sh*t! But while we still do have a voice we should let our anger be known! This is unforgivable! From what I've been hearing this morning there are a lot of the 9/11 victim's families who feel it will only dredge it all up for them again. Obama doesn't care. It's all about his agenda and making America look bad. And there is no doubt that making America look bad is what he's all about!

Why Were 14 People Killed at Fort Hood? Because Officials at Walter Reed Passed the Buck!

(UPDATE: I changed the title of this post because one of the women who was murdered was pregnant. Her baby was a person too! The MSM has apparently forgotten about that as they're only counting 13 people as having been killed.)

Please read this article from National Public Radio (NPR): Walter Reed Officials Asked: Was Hasan Psychotic? The information in it is astounding and disgusting!

It's now evident that many people at Walter Reed knew there was something very wrong with Nidal Hasan and that by not objecting to his transfer to Fort Hood they passed the buck. I don't care what rank he wore, I refuse to call him "Major".

Here's a condensed version of the four reasons that he was transferred to Fort Hood:

1. The process at Walter Reed for expelling doctors is "lengthy and cumbersom." Hello? So is the grieving process people must suffer when a loved one is murdered!

2. This one is political correctness gone berserk: Some supervisors worried they might be "discriminating against Hasan because of his seemingly extremist beliefs."

3. Walter Reed officials that were involved in the deliberations were "not aware, as some top Walter Reed officials were, that intelligence analysts had been tracking Hasan's e-mails with at least one suspected Islamic extremist since December 2008."

4. This reason, at least in my mind, is the poorest of all: Because Fort Hood has more psychiatrists than some other Army bases, officials figured he'd be monitored more closely there.

Bottom line... Walter Reed officials didn't want to deal with it. They were afraid of being accused of discrimination. Just pass him off to Fort Hood and let them deal with this jackass - we don't have time for it! And what makes it even more apparent that they were passing the buck is the article says that his work was substandard at Walter Reed. What on earth gave them the idea Ft. Hood would want him?

I know I'm beating this one to death, but I can't seem to let it go. I want people who let this miserable cretin slip through their fingers to pay some sort of price for it! Thirteen people are dead and many others wounded because of the idiotic reasons listed above? Dear God, what is happening to us?

And to top it all off, we have Obama, the Commander in Chief and his left-wing cronies refusing to Call Ft. Hood Massacre an Act of Terror! It makes me want to puke!

"Commander in Chief" and "Obama" in the same sentence sounds like a very bad joke. This was terrorism and it could have been prevented... it should have been prevented!

EVEN OUR MILITARY IS POLITICALLY CORRECT! #@$%!!!

Fox news reports that sources in Congress have reported to ABC news that Nidal Malik Hasan, the Major who deliberately slaughtered 13 people at Ft. Hood had "more unexplained connection to people being tracked by the FBI" than just a radical Muslim imam, investigators have found, acording to a report. The names of those unexplained connections were not revealed to ABC news.

Of course Fox News had to pick this up from another news source because Fox News is on the White House Enemies List and Fox News doesn't say that Hasan actually "slaughtered" 13 people. They say he is "suspected" of having slaughtered 13 people. ABC says he is "alleged" as being the shooter. Innocent until proven guilty, of course. Thankfully I'm not limited to having to do that. The b*stard didn't belong in our military and it's this blogger's opinion that there were enough warning signs for the Army to strip him of his rank and give him a dishonerable discharge! During a presentation that was supposed to be on the environment Hasan gave a presentation on the war on terror. That alone should have been enough, but obviouslly, political correctness has taken over even our military.

Pardon me while I digress just a bit from the topic of this post: I can't help wondering who exactly is on the White House's enemy list besides Fox News. Are Muslim terrorists on that list? Terrible that I would even have to ask that question, don't you agree?

The Obama administration doesn't want us to use the words "War on Terror." Tough! That's what we are in whether the government admits it or not, and that's what I will call it whether the government likes it or not.

I live in Texas but I wasn't in the state when Major Didal Malik Hasan decided it would be a great idea to kill people at Ft. Hood. No link for that. If there's anyone who hasn't heard about it, then they aren't interested enough in what happens to this country to be reading this in the first place.

What truly blows me away isn't the fact that another act of terrorism has happened here. I think, with the dhimmitude going on in this country that it's a no-brainer that it would happen again. What I don't understand is why the military did nothing about this man when several soldiers reported to their superiors that Hasan had praised suicide bombers! Obviously this is no longer the same Army that my husband spent 20 years in. What in the world has happened to us? I am almost stupified by the fact that officers knew about this man's loyalty to muslim terrorists and did absolutely nothing. Of course that's not all that puzzles me. As Susan Sachs Fleishman wrote in the same article: "Am I the only one who sees an inherent recklessness in assigning a devout Muslim, no matter how upright and grounded he might be, to counsel soldiers traumatized by their experiences in the Iraq and Afghan wars?" Of course she's not the only one and neither am I. The idiocy of that fact alone is almost beyond belief! But the dhimmitude of our government is undoubtedly to blame too. In fact there is a lot of blame to go around but it won't help anything at all. Those who were killed will still be dead and those families who lost loved ones will still be grieving.

The bottom line of all this is that this country must wake up and call it what it is. It's a war on terror, Obama, whether you like it or not! It's also a fight against pure and utter evil. If you don't believe that, just ask the family members of those who have been murdered.
